Common questions

Where is my birth data stored?

Only on your iPhone. Tara Ghar has no accounts and no server database. Your name, birth date, time and place never leave your device, including when you use Ask. See the privacy policy for the full picture.

How do I delete my data?

Inside the app: remove a person to erase their chart, readings and conversations, or use Delete Everything in Settings to erase all app data at once. Nothing is held anywhere else, so there is nothing more to ask us to delete.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Tara Ghar is free and every feature is open: all sixteen divisional charts, the full dasha timeline, all eight kootas, panchang and transits. There is no purchase, no subscription, no advertising and no account.

I do not know my exact birth time. Can I still use the app?

Yes. The app casts the chart for noon and honestly hides the house-based parts rather than showing you results it cannot stand behind.

Does Ask need the internet?

Often not. On iPhones that can run Apple's on-device model, questions are answered on the phone itself: nothing is sent anywhere and it works with no signal. Other iPhones fall back to our online service, which needs a connection and is limited to five questions a day because the app is free and that service is not. Everything else in the app always works fully offline. Ask is answered by an AI language model, not by a person.
