Tara Ghar is free to download and free to use. Every feature is open. There is no purchase, no subscription, no advertising, no donation and no paid tier of any kind, and there is nothing in the app that asks you to pay for anything. You owe us nothing and we owe you no invoice.
One practical consequence: the online part of Ask costs us money to run, so it carries a limit of five questions a day per device. Answers written by the model built into your iPhone do not cost us anything and are not limited. Everything else in the app is unlimited and works offline.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Tara Ghar. The readings and the AI conversation are written for adults, and the online part of Ask sends text to an AI service that we do not hold out as suitable for children.
Tara Ghar computes Vedic astrology charts, periods and readings, and offers an AI conversation about them. All of it is offered for reflection and tradition. It is not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and it makes no predictions or promises about health, wealth, relationships, longevity or any other outcome. Decisions you take remain yours.
This product is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney, a doctor, or a financial adviser. If something in your life needs one of them, please consult one.
Astrological results depend on the birth details you enter. If the birth time is unknown, the app says so honestly and hides the parts that depend on it rather than guessing.
The astronomical calculation behind the charts is our own implementation of published scientific models, and is tested against a professional ephemeris. The astrological interpretation built on top of it is a reading of a traditional system, which is a different kind of claim, and we do not present it as science.
Ask is answered by an AI language model. You are talking to a computer program, not to a person. On supported iPhones the model built into the phone answers and nothing is transmitted. Otherwise your question and a set of chart facts are sent to our endpoint and on to an AI provider, and the app asks your permission before that happens for the first time. The privacy policy describes exactly what is transmitted, to whom, and for how long it is kept.
Answers are generated, and generated answers can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Do not rely on a factual statement in an answer without checking it. Do not use Ask to seek professional advice. Do not submit content that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others. The app includes a control for reporting a generated answer you consider inappropriate, and we read those reports.
We may limit, suspend or withdraw the online part of Ask if it is being abused or if running it stops being affordable. The rest of the app does not depend on it and keeps working.
You may not reverse engineer the app except where law permits, resell or redistribute it, use it to build a competing dataset, or attempt to disrupt or overload the service behind the Ask feature.
The app, its design, its text and its computation engine are the property of the developer. Charts and readings generated for you are yours to use personally, including sharing the share cards the app creates.
The app is provided with reasonable skill and care, and otherwise as is. Because Tara Ghar is supplied free of charge, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, or for any decision you take on the basis of a reading or an answer.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and for intent or conscious recklessness. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under Dutch or EU law.
These terms may be updated as the app evolves; the current version always lives at this address with its effective date. If a change is material, the app will say so. You can stop using the app at any time; deleting it removes all of its data from your device.
These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also enjoy the protections of the mandatory law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings before your local courts.
